<I-5 Floods</p> Believe it or not, you are looking at I-5 north as floodwaters were just barely starting to recede. It disappears into a massive lake that consumed a small airport and roughly 20 miles of the interstate between Centralia and Chehalis. The northbound side is actually cracked and crumbling, which might ultimately prolong the closure of I-5 in Washington. Several people were parking on the freeway overpasses to get out and see the damage for themselves.
