Deadly Storms in the South

Dozens of tornadoes struck the South on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, and at least 214 people were killed in the storms –– the deadliest in 40 years. Towns like Tuscaloosa, Ala., show here, were left with flattened buildings, power outages and debris-strewn streets.
