<p>California Drought</p>  Dry Growing fields in Northern California. January 2007 just west of Sacramento. We've had an extremely dry winter and all of the farm lands that are normally saturated with rain by January were very very dry when I took this photo.

Dry growing fields in the Northern California. In January 2007, just west of Sacramento, we've had an extremely dry winter. All of the farm's land that is normally saturated with rain by January, was very dry.

I made this photo from the bed of a creek that is normally full of water. The dry cracked soil, and the barren tree on an overcast day, made it a special shot.
