What do you get when you combine intelligence, humor, good looks...and global warming?

A series of eco-panic attacks.

And that's the premise behind My Big Fat Environmental Crisis, comedic webisodes that explore the lighter side of witnessing the end of the world, launching exclusively on TheDailyGreen.com.

Actress and writer Annabelle Gurwitch takes us on a little ride on her quest to get green yet stay cool in a world that's heating up. Follow her on her, uh, quest to reveal the reality in the zeitgeist. In Los Angeles. Ground zero for neon and plastic.

Neither a scientist nor a tree hugger (although she knows plenty of both), Annabelle's a comedian, NPR prognosticator, author, documentary filmmaker, and admitted C minus science student whose comedic and investigative stamp is taking the large issues in the zeitgeist and making them relatable, entertaining, and engaging.

Annabelle’s first book, Fired! Tales of the Canned, Canceled, Downsized and Dismissed was published by Simon and Schuster in 2006, the paperback followed in 2007. Fired! carries the message of turning your crappy experiences in the workplace into opportunities for growth through humor, perspective and a little imagination.

TV fans will remember her from TBS' "Dinner and a Movie," HBO's "Not Necessarily The News" and appearances on many comedy series.

My Big Fat Environmental Crisis" is a production of Hearst Entertainment Productions, Los Angeles.
