Sunset After the Fires
I took this photo this evening down at Huntington Beach. It was a beautiful sunset in the midst of the smoke created from the massive fires in the area. The oil rig on the horizon emphasizes the cause and effect of global warming and forest fires.
Southern California on Fire
Late Sunday morning, palm trees bent in half and embers were carried through the air as winds gusted to 60 to 65 mph. Thick smoke obscured the sun.
