Over the years, our favorite cameras have become iconic designs in their own right. Now, the creative folks of Yellow Owl Workshop in Portland, Oregon, have immortalized their forms by casting them in low-fire, ghostly white ceramic. These handmade sculptures are fired in an electric kiln that's powered by wind energy. The glaze is nontoxic, and the clay is specially formulated to require 30% less energy to cure.
These pieces are full-scale representations of the classic Polaroid One-Touch and the Argus C3 camera - the latter of which was affectionately known as "the brick." Both designs are available for $68 from Branch Home.
