Sanjay Gupta Turns Down Surgeon General Job
The CNN correspondent withdrew his name from the Obama administration. No need to fear Sanjay Gupta's worst reporting.

According to the Washington Post, CNN correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta has removed his name from consideration to be the Obama administration's Surgeon General. The Post has not yet caught word of an official reason, though past commentators have noted that he would have to take a considerable pay cut, as well as endure time away from his family.
Previously I came up with a list of the The 6 Most Idiotic Positions of Dr. Sanjay Gupta. I wasn't the only one who had reservations about the candidate either.
Hopefully, Obama will name someone with a breadth of public health experience, and who can help get the country on a more healthy path.
