Looks like I'm not the only one with a bit of a crush on green queen Laurie David, the producer of An Inconvenient Truth and stopglobalwarming.org lead marcher. I wasn't present when TDG's founder interviewed Laurie on camera, and I've never actually met her. But she does seem pretty awesome.

Yesterday Starre Vartan of Greenopia and Eco-Chick (and occasionally TDG) passed this gem on to me: it seems Canada's Josh Rachlis is an even bigger Laurie David fan. A MUCH bigger fan.
Rachlis pours his sensitive, white-boy rapper heart out to Laurie in this entertaining music video, directed by Jonathan Bensimon. Rachlis apparently made Larry David's ex some green bling too, in the form of a ring cobbled from a coke can and part of a juice box. Smooth!
I like this part:
I know for you green street cred is essential
I don't flush with just pee
And my lightbulbs are twisty
I have a transit pass, a bike and
Hybrids get my eyes misty
I eat organic, I eat tofu, I use reusable cups
I keep my appliances unplugged and I ask idlers to stop
Check out "An Inconvenient Proposal" by Josh Rachlis:
Apparently Rachlis' love for Laurie runs so deep that this isn't the first ode he has made to her. In fact, he also asked her to marry him a few years earlier, in a more earnest, stripped-down way. (He says the fact that Laurie "had an interest in neurotic, bald Jewish men also peaked [his] interest." "I'm like a Larry David, but I'm younger, so it's almost like youre upgrading.") A lovesick Rachlis adds that he "sit[s] in darkness all the time," and "pick[s] up garbage everywhere."
Josh Rachlis definitely has chutzpah, and we give him props. Best of luck bro!
Rachlis also made this cute n' clever green video "An Inconvenient Ruth." We're guessing he wouldn't have this particular problem with Laurie David. Watch and see how it goes with this "regular chick..."
Thanks again to Starre Vartan of Greenopia and Eco-Chick. Check out her coverage of Josh Rachlis here.
