I survived my first bout with live TV! I think I can safely say: URTH Guy 1 - Rush 0. I didn't specifically counter the Viagra-popping, cigar chomping blowhard, but I still feel pretty good about my recent discussion of the 10 cities with the most green buildings in America.

Yesterday I did a brief talking heads spot on the topic at 10 am EST on ABC News Now, the network's 24-hour cable news channel (supposedly reaches 45 million folks!). As you can see the clip is also on their website (though not embeddable, darn), and it goes out to mobile networks. The host was Jackie Hyland, who has no discernible Irish accent, despite having lived most of her formative years there (she was cool though, and big ups to the producers as well).
During parts of the segment my eyebrows twitch like a catfish in a bassboat, and I wish I had had time for a haircut beforehand, but the important thing is getting some words out about green building (something that has also long resonated with many of TDG's readers).
As I tried to convey, the list of top cities was based on the raw number of Energy Star-certified commercial buildings, though green building encompasses other important factors as well. Hopefully the attention will convince more operation managers to sign up and start going green.
What do you guys think of the list and the segment? Feedback appreciated!
Also, thanks for the props from MNN and g spotting!
