Huffington Post is sending ambassadors to the U.N. climate conference. Help send the author of Big Green Purse.
The Daily Green is endorsing Diane MacEachern as the Huffington Post’s citizen ambassador to the climate talks in Copenhagen. Diane has shared her work with The Daily Green, a Huffpo Green partner, and we heartily support her idea that changing the average woman’s buying habits can make a big impact on the environment. Her “Big Green Purse” philosophy is a marriage of education, action and populist appeal. If she can attend the U.N. climate conference, she could communicate her experience in Copenhagen to a broad U.S. audience. We think she’d be a fantastic choice, and an effective ambassador at a time when the U.S. public needs to act and yet is demonstrating more skepticism toward the conclusions of climate scientists.
