Sen. James M. Inhofe's list of 400+ supposedly prominent climate scientists who doubt global warming is full of names that should raise big question marks, including economists and other social scientists, mathematicians, TV weathermen, amateurs and industry-supported scientists. 1. Don Aitkin, PhD, professor, social scientist, retired Vice-Chancellor and President, University of Canberra, Australia.

2. Dr. Nils-Axel Morner, emeritus professor of paleogeophysics and geodynamics, Stockholm University, Sweden. Strong ties to the oil industry, and claims to be an expert in "dowsing." Connected to the anti-global warming group Natural Resources Stewardship Project.

4. Dr. Norman Borlaug, retired. Known as the father of the "Green Revolution" for helping to develop high-yield farming techniques. He is one of only five people in history who has been awarded a Nobel Peace Prize, the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal. Doesn't seem to have any climate experience.

5. Daniel Botkin, president of the Center for the Study of the Environment and Professor Emeritus in the department of Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology at the University of California. Retired.
