Wild Rice Stuffing

INGREDIENTS
1 cup wild rice
3 cups chicken broth
1 cup diced celery
¼ cup minced onion
¼ cup butter or margarine, melted
1/3 pound of mushrooms
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ teaspoon Sage
¼ teaspoon Thyme

PREPARATION
1. Wash wild rice in three changes of hot tap water.
2. In saucepan, heat wild rice, chicken broth, and salt until boiling. Reduce heat and cover.
3. Simmer until wild rice has absorbed the liquid, about twenty minutes. Wild rice should be tender.
4. Saute celery, onions and mushrooms in butter for 2-3 minutes. Combine celery, onions, and mushrooms with rice and season with herbs.
