Rum with Orange Juice and Bitters

Made with sweet orange juice and a dash of bitters, this Appleton Master Blenders' Legacy Rum 'Ortanique' is as sophisticated as it is unforgettable.

Round Hill Hotel and Villas' Chef Martin Maginley demonstrated his desire to take traditional Jamaican food to another level by pairing an jerk rubbed pork loin with this rum drink. Echoes of orange, vanilla and honey can be found in the rub's orange zest, as well as the molasses-and-bitters sauce. Of course, the drink tastes just fine on its own.

INGREDIENTS
2oz Appleton Master Blenders' Legacy Rum
2oz sweet orange juice
A dash of bitter

PREPARATION
Shake with ice, strain and garnish with Bougainvillea.
