Bucky Master's Brown Sugar Rum Punch

"Stir vigorously, sip liberally, dance joyously and live loudly!"

Share

This signature rum punch recipe comes from Bucky Master himself, the heavily soused actor at Bellefield Great House, on the land once known as the Upton Estate, one of the original sugar plantations on Jamaica. This recipe amps up the traditional rum punch mantra (1 sweet, 2 strong, 4 weak). Instead, it's 1 sour (lime), 2 sweet (sugar), 3 strong (white rum) and 4 weak (water). Try it.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup lime juice
2 cups sugar
3 cups white rum
4 cups water

PREPARATION
1. Blend the sour with the sweet.
2. Confidently pour in a dose of strong.
3. Temper with a little weak.
