Black Bean Hummus

Use for fresh vegetables as well as baked tortilla and pita bread triangles.

INGREDIENTS
2 cups black beans, rinsed and drained well
1 cup chickpeas, rinsed and drained well
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 tablespoons tahini (sesame seed paste)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil

PREPARATION
1. Puree the ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
