This tempting little dish is easy to create and makes a great appetizer or starter to your meal.

INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 each garlic cloves, peeled and minced
1 each bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 pound medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons dry white wine
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
PREPARATION
1. In a large nonstick skillet over high heat, stir oil, garlic, bay leaf and crushed red pepper until garlic just begins to color, about 30 seconds.
2. Add shrimp and season with salt. Stir until shrimp turn pink in color. Add the wine and lemon juice, stir, and adjust seasonings if necessary.
3. Transfer to a platter and sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately.
