Broiled Black Cod with Miso Glaze

INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup white miso paste
2 tablespoons rice wine
2 tablespoons mirin
1 1/2 pounds black cod fillets
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, or as desired

Preparation
1. Preheat the broiler.

2. For the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk miso, rice wine, and mirin into a smooth paste.

3. Place black cod fillets on a prepared baking sheet and brush tops with half the miso paste. Broil, 3 to 4 inches from the flame, until golden brown. Turn fillets over and brush with remaining miso paste. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and broil until fish is opaque in the center.
