Organic Lollipops

By Annie Bell Muzaurieta

Another U.S. retail chain is going greener by offering organic candy — this time it's for suckers.

Linens 'n Things, which sells home textiles and housewares, will be selling YummyEarth lollipops in its stores. YummyEarth lollipops are USDA certified organic, contain no artificial colors or corn syrup and are available in 20 flavors such as Pomegranate Pucker, TooBerry Blueberry and Strawberry Smash.

In a press release, Rob Wunder, one of the two dads who co-founded YummyEarth organic lollipops said: "We use super cool ingredients, such as Japanese purple carrots instead of artificial red dye, and real pomegranate extract for our Pomegranate Pucker flavor."

Unsure which flavor you'll like best? To celebrate Earth Day and the introduction of the goodies to store shelves, Linens 'n Things will be giving away YummyEarth lollipops in stores on April 22. You can try 'em all while supplies last.
