Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market Inc., is recalling 5-ounce bags of fresh Organic Baby Spinach sold at its markets in three states, California, Nevada, and Arizona. A sample of the spinach tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes, an organism that can cause foodborne illness.

The recalled spinach has an Enjoy-by date of Aug 01 under the f&e™ label. The recalled spinach has the bar code 20001162.

Customers can request a refund by showing a receipt or empty bag at the place of purchase. For more information, call 800-648-8622.
