Nestle Prepared Foods Company is recalling more than 879,000 pounds of Lean Cuisine frozen chicken meals because they may contain bits of hard plastic, according to the U.S. Department of Agricultures Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The frozen meals were sold nationwide.

Each package also bears the USDA mark of inspection as well as the establishment number "EST P-9018."
The frozen chicken meals were produced in August, September and October. The problem was discovered after the company received consumer complaints and a report of one injury.
