Nearly 30,000 Pounds of Ground Beef Recalled

When Cargill Meat Solutions recalled 29,339 pounds of fresh ground beef products July 22, it was unclear how consumers could protect themselves from the meat that could be contaminated with Salmonella Enteritidis. But as of today, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has listed several retailers affected by the recall. Connecticut

  • Country Market in Oakdale

Maine

  • Brackett's Market in Bath
  • Will's Shop N' Save in Dover-Foxcroft
  • Gray Shop N' Save in Gray

Massachusetts

  • Pure Food Market, Inc, in Southampton
  • IGA in Winchendon

New Hampshire

  • Hunter's Shop 'n Save in Wolfeboro

New York

  • IGAs in Brewster, Greenport and Southold
  • Peck's Markets in Callicoon and Jeffersonville
  • Hurley Ridge Market in West Hurley
  • Wilson's Lakeside Market in Wilson

New Jersey

  • IGAs in Elmer and Ridgefield Park
  • Town Market in Roebling

  • Lake Region IGA in Hawley
