Company Sued Over 18-Month-Old's Salmonella Poisoning The maker of Veggie Booty snacks, which were
recalled Thursday after dozens of children across the country became ill from salmonella contamination, has recalled a second product: Super Veggie Tings Crunchy Corn Sticks. The company called it a precautionary move. Besides being a precaution against further illness, it could well be a precaution against further lawsuits. The family of an 18-month-old child who became ill after eating Veggie Booty filed suit against Robert's American Gourmet. The source of the bacterial contamination is still under investigation.
