Craving a fast-food run but want the least damaging item on the menu? You can get nutritional info as you need it from Diet.com's new text messaging system, called Nutrition on the Go.
Anyone with text-messaging capability can send a message to DIET1 (34381) with the name of the restaurant, the menu item and the size, if it applies, according to the Chicago Sun Times. You should get a return message with the nutritional information.
The service provides nutritional information for 36,000 menu items at more than 1,700 restaurants nationwide, including McDonald's, Starbucks, Panera Bread Co. and Chili's.
