The article, "I Love You, but You Love Meat," mentions that sharing meals "has always been an important courtship ritual." But in a era of food consciousness, what happens when mates face dietary differences?
In some cases, it just won't work. One vegetarian told the writer that meat eaters smell bad and have low energy. Another woman was rejected by a bread lover due to her gluten allergy.
But other times, eaters find compromise. A happily married omnivore and vegan cook together in the featured photo, having established respect for one another's choices.
