When shopping for pets, Mazeffa recommends buying items made out of post-consumer recycled materials that don’t have as large of an impact as items that rely on virgin material production.

For pet toys, he suggests looking for plastics that are BPA-free, items that do not contain any PVC or hazardous stains/dyes and are made from natural rubber or wood. These green goods will give your dog something to wag his tail about.
