The Energy Star-certified LG LFX 31925 refrigerator is the latest product to earn the Good Housekeeping Seal.

Already Energy Star-rated, the refrigerator uses 20% less energy than comparable models, but has 20% more capacity, according to the Good Housekeeping Research Institute, which subjected the fridge to rigorous testing to ensure it lives up to its product claims.

By giving the Good Housekeeping Seal to the LG refrigerator, the magazine pledges to replace or repair the product or refund the purchase price if it proves to be defective within two years from the date it was first sold to a consumer by an authorized retailer.

That's no small claim for an appliance this large. The LG LFX 31925 goes for $3,000 at homedepot.com.

LG Electronics has achieved the more "Most Efficient" designations, under a new Energy Star initiatives, than any other company making consumer electronics and appliances.
