Things are bad in the U.S. housing market, with prices continuing to drop, and rising inventory of unsold properties. For those who must sell, that means offering an even lower price, or trying to get creative.
TDG has shown you how to try to get a leg up in the market by going green, including some tips specifically for the Florida market. But apparently that's not the only idea in town.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that a growing list of foreclosed properties has prompted local real-estate agents David Torres and Hitesh Khatri to launch something called the Orlando Homes Tour. Browsers can sign up for a free bus ride that visits eight to 10 homes, which reportedly banks had been unable to move and which were getting anxious for bids.
Participants hear from home inspectors and lenders, in addition to sales agents. The tours are to run on some Saturdays in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.
