The ocean is on everyone's minds, especially after the recent BP oil spill disaster. But the damage we've already done to our oceans by polluting and overfishing put marine ecosystems in the danger zone way before oil began gushing into the gulf. By some estimates, the world's fisheries will be completely exhausted by 2048 if we continue to fish at the current rate.

To help combat overfishing, it's important to only eat fish that were harvested ethically and sustainably. There are a lot of guides available to help you choose sustainable fish at the grocery store, but choosing sustainable fish at a restaurant is harder because you can't usually find where fish came from. To help make good seafood decisions at restaurants, Fish2Fork has created a Sustainable Restaurant Guide that rates restaurants based on their environmental practices.

Fish2Fork is a website by the same people who made The End of the Line -- an awesome documentary about the dire state of the world's fisheries. Use Fish2Fork's restaurant guide to choose sustainable seafood restaurants and eat out in sustainable fashion!
