Some 275 million pounds of automobile windshields are thrown in our landfills every year. Most windshield damage starts as a small chip or crack that can be repaired, saving the windshield from having to be replaced.
The best part is that if you have comprehensive insurance the insurance companies will pay for these repairs and waive the deductible to the insured. A win-win for everyone! If you don't have insurance the repair is much cheaper than paying for a new windshield.
