Here's one I haven't seen anywhere so I will start it here. Use your tachometer to save fuel: lots of it.
The tachometer is as large as the speedometer on most cars but is the least used. If you pay attention to the tach and avoid fast acceleration you will save fuel plus wear and tear on your vehicle.
I try to keep mine under 300 rpm and level off to 200 rpm. Yours may vary depending on make and model but not by much. Check out Awareness Ideas for more. Let me know what you think.
