Instead of filling up at the gas pump every time, establish a dollar amount you won't go above each week. By cutting back $5-$10 per week on gas, you save money.
The psychological effects of a less-than-full tank cause you to drive less, thereby conserving gas, AND you're not contributing to big oil's historical...record-breaking...higher-than-ever... profits.
Which I might add has been at the expense of EVERY American consumer. Instead of a national "Don't Buy Gas" day, let's just buy less gas than we usually do and slowly chip away at our own demand. We'll dish out a lesson in humility to the big oil companies, who are busy screwing the American Consumer!
