A Passionate Call to Arms
Rallying the green troops.
My biggest concerns are these: 1. People being environmentally conscious and green-acting is a great concept (but not realistic practice). But the only way we are going to salvage this planet is for its leaders to change the INFRASTRUCTURE of how humans live and operate. We will never have enough people dedicated to living responsibly to make the true difference. It's not pessimism. It's reality.
2. Those of us on blogs like this need to collectively organize in efforts to create consulting practices to educate organizations to STOP the enormous waste that is prevalent across industries. Examples: Every restaurant wastes and wastes and wastes. Extrapolate that across ALL restaurants, and it's mind-boggling.
