Donate Used Magazines to Hospitals

It's a good way to recycle.

Instead of throwing your old magazines out, take them to a hospital for the patients and their families, or take them to a nursing home. They will bring a lot of happiness there.

When my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer I spent many hours in the waiting room, and there was never any magazines aside from the odd one or two that were two years old! While these periodicals may be of no use to you anymore, just imagine the small, but significant break in the tedium they may provide someone waiting to visit with a loved one.
