Buses provide excellent fuel efficiency per passenger mile
Motor coaches deliver more than 146 passenger miles per gallon of fuel. That's more than any other mode of transportation.
One motor coach can displace as many as 56 passenger cars from crowded highways. Buses emit the fewest pounds of CO2 when compared to an average mid-sized car, commercial airliner, and passenger train traveling round trip.
