Changes in the Church
Many churches, even from conservative religions, are going greener.

Even the most conservative religions are beginning to support healing the earth. I am an Episcopalian clergyperson. In our small congregation, we have distributed reusable shopping bags and compact fluorescent lightbulbs. We carpool to church services. We support a local farmers' market by allowing them to set up in our parking lot each Saturday. It isn't always the national hierarchy that makes change, but it is often the individual congregations.
