Going green has never been easier, thanks to all the environmental info out there these days, explains Sreenath "Sree" Sreenivasan, tech journalist for NYC's WNBC-TV and professor of new media at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. (Sreenivasan is also Dean of Student Affairs.)
In his latest segment, Sreenivasan describes some sites to learn more about green. In addition to featuring TDG, Sreenivasan suggets NBC's Green is Universal site, which is packed with blogs, a treasure hunt, message boards, tips, games, video and content for cell phones.
On WNBC's website, Sreenivasan also recommends checking out Treehugger and MakeMeSustainable.com, a Facebook for environmentalists.
Watch the complete video segment here or here. The regular tech tips program, "Sree Advice," airs on WNBC-TV in New York at 6:20 on Thursday mornings and 5:20 on Monday evenings.
Full Disclosure: Sreenivasan was my professor and masters' project advisor at Columbia.
