Carbon Monitoring for Action, carma.org, a new non-profit group that formed just days ago, has published information about the biggest sources of carbon dioxide in the world.

Carbon dioxide is the most abundant greenhouse gas fueling global warming.

Here's a look at the 15 power companies responsible for the most carbon dioxide emissions. The biggest corporate responsibility reflects the biggest continental responsibility, with Asia leading North America, and the biggest national responsibility, with China and the United States topping the list as near equals.
