At The Daily Green we regularly give you news articles about what world leaders, large organizations and businesses are doing to go green. We also have plenty of tips for you on things to do in your own home to make a difference in your health and the health of our planet. But what happens to you once you step outside your home -- and enter your school, university or office? Do you forget your passion for the environment, convinced that little 'ol you can't possibly make a difference out in the world? Or, are you out there persuading your boss, your child's PTA or even your fraternity to turn over a new greener leaf?
We love to hear about individuals making a difference (take a look at our Local Heroes for inspiration). We know there are tons of you out there taking small steps to change your schools, colleges and offices, and we want to hear your stories. Let others be inspired by your successes!
Are you like Jeff, who helped his daughter's school switch from selling wrapping paper to CFLs? Have you joined a carpool at work like Evan White suggests, or maybe youve started requiring reusable cups at all your college parties?
Email us your success stories, explaining how you made positive changes at your school, university or office. And keep up the good work!
