Natural products powerhouse Seventh Generation is teaming up with the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund on a Website that launches today, letstalkperiod.com. During the month of September (which is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month), visitors to letstalkperiod.com can earn money for research on the disease. For every person who signs up on the site, Seventh Generation will donate $1 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

The main purpose of the Wwebsite is to encourage women to look out for possible signs of ovarian cancer, to detect any potential problems early and to get educated on prevention and risk factors. According to the campaign, 22,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer this year, which is why this campaign has a target goal of raising $22,000.

There's also a new Twitter hash tag (#LetsTalkPeriod) for the campaign, and several videos to get people talking, including an ovarian cancer survivor's story, bits from comedians and conversations from regular women.

Each registrant will also receive a coupon for Seventh Generation organic cotton tampons, which are not bleached with chlorine, contain no rayon and don't contain added perfumes or dyes. No toxic shock there!

Here's some videos Seventh Generation put together for the campaign:
