Uma Thurman, Kevin Spacey, Kylie Minogue, Alicia Keys, Annie Lennox and Melissa Etheridge entertained an audience of scientists, politicians, and peacemakers yesterday evening. The actors and musicians performed at the annual Nobel Peace Prize concert held at the Oslo Spektrum in Norway.

Stars from around the world gathered to help spread the message of peace and celebrate this year's Nobel Peace Prize laureates: Al Gore and the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. They shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for their efforts to document and draw attention to global warming.

According to the Chicago Tribune, celebrities attending the concert said they hoped to draw attention to environmental action, a cause the former vice president has identified as a "planetary emergency.”
