MexiTan and Tropical Sands Sunscreens
Both the MexiTan and Tropical Sands brands are made by MexiTan. The MexiTan is the cheapest natural sunscreen we could find, at $2.19 per ounce for SPF 30. (Tropical Sands would also makes our under-$5 list, at $3.61 an ounce.) Like all the sunscreens in this feature, Environmental Working Group rated MexiTan highly for strong sun protection from both UVA and UVB radiation, and low hazard ratings for its ingredients.
