Call it misleading. Call it telling an "untruth." Call it misrepresenting an opponent's ideas.
It used to be called lying.
Whatever you call it, when it comes to the 2008 campaign for president, there's been plenty of it going around. FactCheck.org is the authority on the subject, and the nonpartisan nonprofit organization is doing a yeoman's job keeping track of all the blather.
