Sexy Pajama Time for Green Building

If you haven't heard about the cool eco Website Strawberry Earth before, I bet you will soon. They've taken their platform for creative young people who care about the environment to the next level, and may represent the hip future of environmental activism.

Their latest event is called Strawberry Earth Hotel Crash!, and they're transforming a hot hotel in the center of Amsterdam -- Hotel V -- into a greener building.

After holding a competition between different potential venues (as they explained in the video for their first event), Strawberry Earth is organizing a massive party in Hotel V, with 100% of money raised from the shindig and room bookings to be used to make the venue eco friendlier. They work with Dutch green building consultants Search to figure out the best way to spend the money.

The group has collaborated with some of the hottest talent in Europe to create themed hotel rooms for booking. Rooms were also styled by green sponsors Timberland, Aveda and Rutte Organic Vodka. Acclaimed photographers Daniel Cohen and Simon Wald-Lasowski will be shooting the event, and there will be eclectic sushi by Lekker Traiteurs. The dress code for the party is pajamas(!) and the music lineup looks pretty awesome: Slagmalsklubben (Sweden), Lucy Love (Denmark), Maskinen (Sweden), RedNose Distrikt (Netherlands), and Festa med Killar (Sweden).

So, if you happen to be in Amsterdam on January 16th, head down to Hotel V for some creative and green (or should that be strawberry) partying.
