Highlights from the 2010 Heart of Green Awards (VIDEO)

The 2010 Heart of Green Awards celebrate individuals, organizations and companies that help green go mainstream. The 2010 ceremony, held at the LEED Gold-certified Hearst Tower in New York City was a celebration of optimism, as individuals working on issues ranging from chronic childhood illnesses to ocean conservation won awards for making real progress, while engaging the public at large.

• Tracey Ryder and Carole Topalian, founders of Edible Communities: The Ground Breakers
