Cost Plus Animal Drums (June 2011)

Cost Plus World Market is recalling about 1,000 wooden animal drums made in China and sold at its stores nationwide because they contain excessive lead paint.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall June 30, 2011.

The toy drum is in the shape of a hexagon, and has pictures of animals on six sides. Look for SKU No. 424857 printed on a sticker on the bottom of the drum. They were sold at Cost Plus World Market stores for about $7 from December 2010 through May 2011.

Parents should request a refund at Cost Plus World Market. For more information, call 877-967-5362 between 7 a.m. and midnight ET, or visit worldmarket.com.
