If Tesla is an unheard of electric car start-up company, then Coda is hiding under Tesla’s doormat. Yet, although the carmaker is struggling to rise up out of obscurity, the Coda electric sedan may be just the all-electric option you’re looking for. With room for five, a large trunk, and a full-battery range of about 130 miles, the Coda is a serious car.

Just like the Nissan Leaf and the Chevy Volt, the Coda Sedan supports charging via standard three-prong household outlets as well as faster the “Level 2” charging stations that are cropping up in select early deployment regions throughout 2011.
