Both Dole and Chiquita are now joining the recall of cantaloupe from Honduras that has been linked to dozens of illnesses across the United States.

The recall, which began on March 22 with a Food and Drug Administration warning about salmonella poisoning resulting from melons provided by Honduran grower and packer Agropecuaria Montelibano. Five days later, Chiquita recalled whole fruit and Simply Fresh Fruit recalled cut fruit products.

Now, Dole has recalled cantaloupes in cardboard cartons marked "Dole" and "Product of Honduras," according to the Associated Press.
