10 for '10: The Best of Green

From the first mainstream U.S. electric cars to one very prominent vegan wedding, 2010 had some highlights that were very green, indeed. By Dan Shapley

2010 Year in Review

It's unlikely that 2010 will be remembered as a very good year for the environment. The world's largest accidental oil spill blackened the Gulf of Mexico. The Senate failed to bring an energy and climate change bill to a vote, and then voters sent several avowed opponents of a climate bill to Congress. Meanwhile, levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere continued to increase to record levels and worldwide temperatures approached record highs.

Still, there were several bright spots. So here we celebrate the best of green for 2010.
