Change those lightbulbs yet? Here's another reason to do something about climate change. A new report issued by retired generals warns that global warming, if unabated, could multiply security threats around the world. If the yikes factor on this one is a little much, consider that the Los Angeles Times interviewed several experts who downplayed the report, framing it as a better-safe-than-sorry marketing effort. Still, the U.N. Security Council begins a debate today on the possible security implications of global warming.
