Freakish weather came -- again -- to Britain yesterday, as up to 11 tornadoes formed, according to the London Telegraph. No injuries were reported, but dozens of homes were damaged. After historic flooding this spring, the U.K. has had more than its fair share of freakish weather.
But tornadoes aren't uncommon there. The country witnesses about 33 tornadoes, on average, every year, according to the Telegraph. That means it has more per square mile than any other nation, though that likely has as much to do with its dense population, seeing as how tornadoes aren't counted if they aren't seen.
